The Wisconsin Center for Academically Talented Youth is the only organization working with the state's most promising students on a year-round, statewide basis. Founded in 1991, WCATY provides a unique set of services to children from elementary through high school. We believe in their importance individually. We believe in their importance as a group, as potential leaders in our communities and professions. Their future is our future. WCATY's mission is to nurture Wisconsin's most academically talented students by providing and encouraging programs that support, motivate, and challenge them.
The WCATY Vision focuses on the following key points:
The Wisconsin Idea In Action: WCATY services students from across the state of Wisconsin with various programs and activities. We are constantly growing because our mission is never done. There are probably kids benefiting from WCATY programs in or near your school district.
